Coastal Oregon Fungi Community Talk and Walk
On Saturday we will host a free 3 hour event that aims to educate and inspire attendees of all ages about the fascinating world of mushrooms, their role in planetary health, and we will teach you the basics of foraging and tree identification.

About the event
On Saturday we will host a free 3 hour event that aims to educate and inspire attendees of all ages about the fascinating world of mushrooms, their role in planetary health, and we will teach you the basics of foraging and tree identification.Â
*YOU MUST RSVP FOR SATURDAYS TALK AS SEATS ARE LIMITED TO 60 PEOPLE
Please feel free to bring your found specimens as we will have a table to display them and identify them together during our talk.

Sunday is when we will go get some hands on experience and continue learning about the forest and what is found there.
6. Hands-on Foraging and Tree Identification Walk on Sunday which is a paid event.
Guided foraging walk to identify mushrooms and trees
Practical demonstration of foraging techniques
Hands-on identification of trees and mushrooms
Safety tips for foraging in different seasons

Opportunity for participants to connect and discuss.
Sunday we will have a very sweet hands on field day and fungi foray that will be hosted by Angelic and Coby at a local park nearby. Parking in the day area is $7. Please consider carpooling.
The cost for the foray is $50 per person. No pets please.
